Darius Xavier Moore

Darius Xavier Moore, age 19, of Livingston Alabama was born in Boynton Beach, Florida on September 3, 2003. He is the son of Tavaris and Valerie Moore. Darius is the second born of six children (Demetris, Darius, Dominique, David, Amari, and Adavion). He attended Livingston Junior High School where he played football and basketball. Darius attended Sumter Central High School where he participated in basketball and track before graduating in 2022. He was majoring in Computer Science at the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) until he passed on April 18, 2023. He enjoyed playing intramural football, basketball, and volleyball. He also enjoyed rock climbing and learning about other cultures especially the Asian Culture. He will be greatly missed by his parents, brothers, a host relatives, and friends. Service of Memory and Life Celebration is slated for Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 10:30 a. m. at Sumter Central High School (SCHS) with Pastor Johnny Davis of Progressive Church, York, Alabama, delivering words of comfort and consolation. Darius will lie in repose from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time. Interment follows in Elmwood Memorial Gardens, 11313 US Highway 11, also York, Alabama.
