WILLIE MAE WASHINGTON, age 57 of York, Alabama born to the late Nathaniel Evans Sr. and Ola Bell Seals, passed January 17, 2017 at Rush Foundation Hospital Meridian, MS. Service of Remembrance will be Saturday morning, January 28, 2017 at 11:00 in York West End Jr. High School Gymnasium. Pastor James Granger will deliver the eulogy and offer words of consolation. Interment follows in Mt. Herman Cemetery, 1930 Millville Road, York. After the committal service, repast along with Fellowship is in the cafeteria of York West End. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled for Friday evening, (Jan. 27) from 3-6:00 pm in the Weatherly Chapel. On Saturday morning at 10:40am the processional will leave from the Washington residence, located at 306A Marcus Street. Willie accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Cuba, Alabama; later joining First Baptist Church, York and at the time of her passing was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church, also York, Al. Ella Evans and Brenda (Royal) Chaney of York, AL. Shirley (Morrell) Cook and Lisa (Eddie) Brooks of Cuba, AL. (3) Brothers (Her Twin) Willie Lee Evans of Cuba, AL, Lovell Evans and Tony (Cynthia) Evans of York, AL. (3) Aunts Josephine Thompson, Betty Lard, and Viree Seals of York, AL. (1) Uncle Frank Seals of York, AL. (2) Step-Daughters Taka Clark and Neshlia Clark of York, AL. (5) Step grandchildren all of York, AL.
