STEPHANIE EUGENIA MILLER, age 52, of York, Alabama, born to the union of the late Eugene Miller and Artha Mae "Mot" Wilson, transitioned and entered into eternal rest May 17, 2020 at 1:45 a.m. in Anderson Regional Medical Center, Meridian, Mississippi. Graveside Service of Memory is slated for Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Elmwood Memorial Gardens, Highway 11 East, also York. (The service was live streamed and can still be viewed on the Weatherly Funeral Home FB page.) Rev. Akiva D. Burton, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church, Highway 17 North, York, AL. will deliver the eulogy and offer words of comfort and consolation. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled for Friday evening, May 22, 2020 from 2-5:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel. On Saturday morning, the processional will leave from the Miller residence, located 202 Wrenn Street at 10:45 a.m. for the cemetery. **NOTE: Due to COVID-19, recommendation of gatherings; each person in attendance at the Services and Repast is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Repast is limited to family and close friends.** Stephanie's spiritual sunrise in Christ as a child was at Mount Olive Baptist Church under the pastorate of Pastor C. L. Walk. Her educational journey began at York West End Jr. High; then graduating from Sumter County High School. She later attended Alabama A&M University. Those who have preceded her in death are her parents and her eldest sister, Vanessa. And those who remain to cherish precious memories and to celebrate a beautiful life well lived are: her daughter, Breanna Miller; her siblings - Roderick (Jodie) Brown, Kenosha Miller and Anntwone Moss; eleven (11) nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and countless other relatives and friends who loved her and whom she also loved. To the entire Miller family, we at Weatherly Funeral Home, offer to each of you our most sincere and heartfelt sympathy and condolences.
