Sarah Mae Clark

SARAH MAE CLARK, age 77, of York, Alabama, born  to  the late Isaac Cherry and Ora Lee Marshall, transitioned August 28, 2017 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  Service of Remembrance is Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 12:00 noon from First Baptist Church, 254 McConnell Street, York, with Rev. Jonathan Byrd, pastor, delivering the eulogy and offering words of comfort and  consolation.       Sister Clark will  lie in repose one hour prior  to funeral time.  Interment follows in Home Mission Cemetery, Millville Road 19, also in York, Alabama.  After the committal service, the family will receive friends for repast in the Fellowship hall of First Baptist.  Visitation is scheduled Friday evening (Sept. 1st) from 3-6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel.  On Saturday morning, the processional leaves from Weatherly Funeral Home at 11:40 a.m.       Those who remain to celebrate her life and to cherish precious memories are:  a daughter, Pamela Clark Ryans of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; in her you can find a bit of Mrs. Sarah, her four grand daughters - Pimintie', Octavia and Sacarah, all of Tuscaloosa and Alneshia (Lyman) South Carolina;  her great grandchildren, Ron (13) and Mari (3);  her legacy of love also resides in each of her brothers, sisters, relatives and friends who loved her dearly.  She will truly be missed by all.       To the entire Clark family, we at Weatherly Funeral Home, offer to each of you our most sincere and heartfelt sympathy and condolences.  Our prayer remains that your abiding faith in God will continue to comfort,  to strengthen and sustain your during your time of most profound sorrow.
