Roy Andrew Young

ROY ANDREW YOUNG, age 64 of Cuba, Alabama, was born January 9, 1960 in Prichard; Mobile County, Alabama to the union of the late John Willie and Nancy Ree Chapman Tarvin. Roy transitioned peacefully and entered into eternal rest on April 10, 2024 at Ochsner Rush Health Center in Meridian, Mississippi. Service of Remembrance celebrating his life will be determined by the family in a timely manner and at the appropriate venue. Roy is preceded in death by his loving parents and three siblings. David (Lois), Annie Bell and Eddie (Margaret) Young. Those who remain to cherish his memories are his remaining siblings: James "J.C." (Ruby) Young of Mobile, AL, Dorothy "Dot" (Joe, deceased) Tate of Highland, Calif., Alice ((James, deceased) Lett, York, AL., Thomas (Denell) Young of Fontana, California, Amanda (Carl) Harris, Oklahoma City, OK., Johnnie Mae (Terry) Young, of Kingman, AZ., and Mary (Roosevelt, deceased) Woods from Henderson, Nevada. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will surely miss him.
