Ronnie Tyrone Walker

RONNIE TYRONE WALKER, age 50, of York, Alabama was born August 11, 1971 to the union of Joseph (deceased) and Velma Amerson Walker and peacefully transitioned at his residence April 6, 2022 and entered his Heavenly Home. Graveside Service of Memory and Life Celebration is slated for Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Elmwood Memorial Gardens, 11313 US Highway 11, also York. Rev. James Granger will deliver the eulogy offering words of comfort and consolation. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Friday evening (April 15th) from 3-6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel. Ronnie confessed Christ at an early age and united with Mt. Herman Baptist Church of York, AL. under the leadership of Dr. M. C. Thompson. Ronnie graduated from Sumter County High School and immediately enlisted into the United States Navy. Those who remain to cherish a beautiful life and cherish his memories are: a loving mother, Velma Amerson Walker of York, Alabama; five (5) brothers – Joe Perry, Terry, Bobby and Gerald D. Walker, all of York, AL. and Willie Walker of Peoria, IL; three (3) sisters – Barbara Ann Walker, Pell City, Al., Anissa (Tony) Graham, Mobile, AL and Patrice Lynette Walker of Prattville, Alabama; two nieces – Latoya and Latina Carter and a nephew Gerald Carter, Jr. all of York, Alabama; a host of cousins and other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
