Robert Lee Curry, Jr.

ROBERT LEE CURRY, JR, age 65 of Bellamy, Alabama, was born May 1, 1956 to the union of the late Robert Lee and Ruby Campbell Curry, Sr. He peacefully transitioned and entered into eternal rest April 24, 2022 at Whitfield Memorial Medical Center, Demopolis. A Memorial Service will be planned in conjunction with his niece, Laketta Curry at a future date and at the appropriate time with their family in Alabama. Robert joined Zion Hill Baptist Church located in Cuba, Alabama at an early age. He was educated at Kinterbish High School, also Cuba. He is preceded in death by two sisters (2) Juanita Campbell Williams and Diane Curry Tolliver; one (1) brother, Lawrence (“Soup”) Campbell; his niece, Laketta Curry and other uncles and aunts; also both maternal and paternal grandparents – Fronie and Bob Curry and Paul and Caroline Campbell. Those left to celebrate his life and to cherish precious memories are: a devoted brother, Willie (Lucinda) Campbell, Ann Arbor, Michigan; nephews – Daryl and Bryan Campbell, Christopher Tolliver and Lemmiel Williams; a niece Crystal Campbell; cousins, other friends and neighbors and a life-time companion, Mary Lewis.
