PARRIE LEE HENDERSON,  age 93, of York, Alabama, affectionately known as "MaDear" transitioned and entered into eternal rest Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at her residence.  Service of Remembrance is Monday, October 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from Eastern Star Baptist Church, 112 Curl Road, in the Grant City community of York, Alabama with her son-in-law, Rev. Terry Gosa delivering the eulogy and offering words of comfort and consolation;  Rev. Charles H. Delaine is church pastor.  Sister Henderson will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time. Interment follows in Elmwood Memorial Gardens, Highway 11- East, York.  Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Sunday afternoon from 2-6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel.  The processional leaves from the Henderson residence, located 151 Weatherly Circle at 10:40 a.m.       Sister Henderson was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters (Clara and Josephine); seven brothers, four sons (Willie C. Glover, Sr., James Glover, Charles Mitchell and Leroy Mitchell), and several grandchildren;  also being preceded by her husband Frank Henderson.        Time for memories of love, laughter and fun will be held dear and close to heart by:  eight dear and loving daughters;  Artha Mitchell, Youngstown, OH, Dorothy Delaine, Livingston, AL., Ella Rumley, York, AL., Bertha (Kirk) Terry, Douglasville, GA., Carolyn (Terry) Gosa, Gallion, AL., Gloria Crumpton, Tuscaloosa, AL., YuVanne (Tim) Wilson, Louisville, KY. and Rosalind Robinson, Cleveland, OH;  one loving and devoted son, Lonnie (Andrea) Crumpton, Austin, TX;  three grandchildren that she raised as her own, Reginald (Lorraine) Crumpton, Covington, GA., Keondra Crumpton, Tuscaloosa, AL and Bionca Crumpton of Cuba, AL;  a devoted and loving granddaughter and great-granddaughter that was the "apple of her eye" - Keondra Crumpton and Denitra K. Ruffin; a host of other grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends who loved "MaDear" dearly and truly she will be missed by all.  "Her children shall rise up and call her blessed...."
