MINNIE LEE BRADFORD , age 86 of Elyria, Ohio, affectionately known as " Kitty" was born to the late Eddie Lee Oliver and Mary Lee Prince May 1, 1935 in the Lilita Community of Coatopa; Sumter County, Alabama. She peacefully transitioned after a brief illness at Cleveland Clinic Hospital, April 10, 2022, surrounded by loving family. Service of Memory and Life Celebration is slated for Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, located 1480 Pine Street, Bellamy, Alabama where Rev. Melvin Lard is church pastor. She will lie in state at the church between 12:00 noon and 1p.m. Interment to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, off of County Road #23, Coatopa. Visitation for Family and Friends is scheduled for Friday evening, April 15, 2022 from 3-6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel.
At an early age she became a member of Mary Chapel AME Zion Church in Lilita, Alabama. In 1956 she married the love of her life, the late, Percy L. Bradford. She was a devoted wife, mother and God-fearing woman that loved the Lord and was a faithful prayer warrior.
