Mary Childs Marshall

MARY CHILDS MARSHALL, age 58, of Columbus, Georgia, formerly of Sumter County, (York), Alabama, born to the late Matthew and Evia Childs, transitioned and entered into eternal rest March 27, 2019.  Service of Remembrance is  slated for Friday, April 5, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Hill Watson Memorial Chapel, located 2919 Hamilton Road, Columbus 31904.  Rev. James Gant is to deliver the eulogy with interment to  follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Those who remain to cherish precious memories and to celebrate her life are:  Two loving sons - Matthew Jr. and  Trea Marshall; her siblings; Ella, Matthew, Verbell, Willie, Howard, Eva, Barbara, Mary, Mattie and Robert; numerous nieces, nephews,(her nephew, Ray McVay is Chief of Police for the City of York), cousins and other relatives and friends who loved her dearly - Surely, Mary will be missed!
