Malinda Hamilton Harris

Malinda Hampton Harris, age 81 of Los Angeles, California, was born in Lisman, Alabama to the union of the late Wade and Fannie M. DuBose Hampton December 20, 1939. She departed this life in California on July 21, 2021. Malinda graduated from Choctaw County High School and attended Los Angeles Community College. She was a homemaker and was extremely passionate about her flowers and plants. She also enjoyed sharing her knowledge with the neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother William T Nettles. Those who remain to cherish memories and to celebrate her life are: five children - Wade (Brenda) Bolden, Meridian, MS. Samuel (Andrea) Harris of Iowa, Sylvia Harris (Keith) Griffin, Louisville, KY, Ernest (Keema) Harris and Lemuel Harris, both in Los Angeles, CA; thirteen (13) grandchildren and eleven (11) great-grandchildren. Graveside Service of Memory is slated for Tuesday, August 24, 2021 following a two hour visitation at Weatherly Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Afterwards, the processional leaves for interment in Mount Pisgah Cemetery, Highway 17, Jachin (Choctaw County), Alabama.
