Mc Mcvay

MC "June Bug" McVay, age 70, of Cuba, Alabama, born to the  union of the late Lougene Ward and Maggie McVay, transitioned and entered into eternal rest December 7, 2018 at Hill Hospital of Sumter County.  Service of Remembrance is Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 12:00 noon from Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 1000 Old Highway 11, Cuba.  Rev. Tommy Terrell, Jr. will deliver the eulogy and offer words of comfort and consolation;  Rev. James Granger is church pastor.  Bro. McVay is to lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.  Interment follows in the adjacent Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. After the committal service, repast and fellowship is at York West End Jr. High's cafeteria.  Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Friday evening (Dec. 14th) from 3-6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel.
