KEVIN DEDRIC STUDDARD, II., age 44, of Birmingham, Alabama, transitioned and entered into eternal rest May 29, 2018 at the UAB Medical Complex, Birmingham.  Service of Remembrance is Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from 6th Avenue Baptist Church, located 1101 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive with interment following in Elmwood Cemetery.  Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Friday (June 1st) from 2-6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Smith and Gaston Funeral Home (102-6th Avenue,SW), B'ham.   Kevin embodied the spirit of "People may not remember what you say, but always remember how you make them feel. "He made everybody feel special. His spirit will live on as he was an organ and tissue donor.     Dedric as he is affectionately called by the family, leaves behind love ones whom he cherished dearly:  a wife, Ayla Russell; son, Erik Nasir Studdard; bonus son, Eric Washington, Jr; mother, Sharon Studdard; father Kevin (Bobbie) Studdard; grandfathers- Richard Leonard Jr. and Hiawatha E. Studdard, Sr.; siblings, Ruben Studdard, KaDeidra Bivens, bonus siblings, Maurice Hendking and Shaunta Hendking. A host of beloved aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins and friends.   He was preceded to glory by grandmothers Christine Lee Studdard and Susie Lee Leonard.       To the Studdard, Leonard and Russell families, we at the Weatherly Funeral Home Family (your Aunt-Jacqueline Studdard Weatherly) offer to each of you our most sincere and heartfelt sympathies and condolences.  Our prayer remains that your abiding faith in God will continue to comfort, to strengthen and sustain your during your time of most profound sorrow.
