"But Jesus said, Suffer little children and forbid them not to come unto me for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven" KARTER ELIJAH WILSON, age 9 months, of Demopolis, Alabama, infant son of Cordarrin LiQuinn and Kimberly Gooden Wilson, was born March 27, 2022 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This precious angel peacefully transitioned January 24, 2023 surrounded by loving family at Whitfield Regional Hospital, Demopolis. Life Celebration Service is slated for Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 254 McConnell Street, York, Alabama with Rev. Edmond Bell, pastor of Shiloh Zion Baptist Church, Boyd, delivering words of comfort and consolation; Rev. Jonathan Byrd is church pastor. Karter will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time. Interment follows in Morning Star Cemetery, Cuba. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Friday evening (Jan.27th) from 3-5:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel. On Saturday, the processional leaves for the church from Weatherly Funeral Home at 1:40 p.m. Karter was baptized and dedicated to Christ on August 7, 2022, under the Leadership of Pastor Edmond and Evangelist Dianna Bell. He is most famous for his contagious smile and clapping his hands happily. Karter impressed upon your heart a lasting memory for which he will FOREVER be remembered. He leaves to cherish many fond memories to: his devoted parents, Cordarrin and Kimberly Wilson (Demopolis,Al); his grandparents Doris Wilson (Cuba, AL); Derrick (Ola) Ward, Huntsville, Al. and Sidney and Jessie Gooden of Greensboro Al; his great grandmother, Dorothy Wilson; his brother Cordarrin Wilson, Meridian, Ms; his aunt Shemeka Gooden, Greensboro, Al; his uncles Jadarius Wilson, Cuba, AL; Donavan Lett, Atlanta, Ga; LaDarius Acoff of Selma, AL; Dontarius Washington, Huntsville, Al and Derrick Ward, Jr. of Huntsville, Alabama.
