SISTER JO ANN MOODY, age 92, of York, Alabama, born in Ward; Sumter County, Alabama to the union of the late Raymond and Rachel Rodgers Ward on September 20, 1931. Service of Remembrance and Life Celebration is slated for Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 1225 Shorts 15, Ward. Rev. Pettis Lockett, pastor will deliver the eulogy offering words of comfort and consolation. Interment and Service of Committal follows in the adjacent St. John Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled for Friday evening (Sept. 20th) .from 3-5:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel.
