Jessie Pearl Gilmore

JESSIE PEARL GILMORE, age 77, of Ward, Alabama was born January 31, 1948 to the blessed union of the late Johnny Edward and Annie Bell Ward Gilmore. She peacefully transitioned and entered into eternal rest on March 10, 2025 at 8:55 a. m. surrounded by loving family at Princeton Baptist Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama.

Service of Remembrance and Life Celebration is slated for Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. from Cooper's Mission CME Church, 214 Cooper Mission Road, Jachin, AL. Rev. Luther Edwards will be the officiating pastor, with Sister Renee Pringle serving as Mistress of Order. Ms. Gilmore will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time. Interment follows in the family plot of Ward Chapel Cemetery, located 8541 Pine Grove Road, Ward, AL. Visitation is scheduled Monday evening from 2-5:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel.  On Tuesday morning at 11:30 a. m. the processional leaves from the residence of her sister, Mrs. Willie Mae Gilmore Danner at 724 Fourth Avenue, York, AL.
