Irene Jackson Ruffin

Irene Jackson Ruffin, age 74, was born on November 17, 1947 to Earnest and Sallie Weston Jackson in York, Alabama.   She was educated in the Sumter County Public School System graduating from York West End High School.  She was a faithful member of Mount Powell Missionary Baptist Church York, Alabama where she served as choir director.  Graveside Service will be Saturday (Oct 1st) 12:00 PM at Elmwood Memorial Gardens, located 11313 US Highway 11, York, Alabama with Pastor Wesley Winston officiating.

Her loving survivors are: devoted children; Marcus Chad (Vera) Ruffin, Kenneth Ruffin and Chiquita Ruffin, siblings; Cleveland (Christine) Jackson, Ocie Mae Hull and Geneva Jackson, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives  and friends.  Her remains will lie in repose on Friday (Sep 30th) from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Weatherly Funeral Home York, Alabama.  Westside Funeral Home Fairfield Directing.
