Glendona Walker

GLENDONA WALKER, age 52, of York, Alabama, affectionately known as "Linda" was born November 19, 1970 to the union of the late Thomas and Mary Bell Williams Walker in Detroit, Michigan. Linda peacefully transitioned February 6, 2023 at DCH Regional Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, Alabama surrounded by loving family. Service of Memory and Life Celebration is slated for Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from the Weatherly Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. James Granger is delivering the eulogy to offer words of comfort and consolation; with Sis. Rachel A. Roberts serving as Mistress of Order, and Sis. Arnetta Lucky as Musician/Soloist. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Friday evening from 3-5:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel. Interment follows in Mount Herman Cemetery, off of Millville Road 19, York, Alabama where she will be interred next to her mother. Rev. Willie Sims is Church pastor.
