Early in life, she joined Pine Grove Baptist Church where she established Christian principals that carried her throughout her life. During her youth in Alabama, she attended Kinterbish High School. After High School, she journeyed to New York. This is where she was united in Holy Matrimony to Samuel Bernard Little who at a young age, preceded her in death. Also while in New York she did Day work and various other jobs and for ten years was a Foster Grandparent in the Park Avenue School district of Westbury. Sister Little was active in her New York Church - Bethel A. M. E. Church, Westbury, New York, under the pastorate of Rev. Tamoya Bubkley David where she was always gladly participating in the Missionary Society, was a Choir Member and was on the Women's Day Board - a faithful Christian woman. Those who remain to celebrate her life and cherish precious memories are: numerous nieces and nephews who adored her; a brother, T. S. Smith, Jr. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a sister Wanda Larkin, Bronx, New York; her church family and many friends. Truly she will be missed. To the entire Little family, we at Weatherly Funeral Home offer to each of you our most sincere and heartfelt sympathy and condolences. Our prayer remains that your abiding faith in God will continue to comfort, to strengthen and sustain you during your time of sorrow.
