Proverbs 31:31 GEORGIA LEE JOHNSON, age 95, of York, Alabama, was born January 24, 1926 in Choctaw County, Alabama to the union of the late George and Cittie Greggs Gaines. She transitioned and entered into eternal rest surrounded by loved ones at her residence, November 14, 2021. Graveside Service of Remembrance and Life Celebration is slated for Friday, November 19, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in Mt. Herman Cemetery, Millville Road 19, York. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Thursday evening, November 18th from 2-5:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel. Georgia was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Raymond Johnson. Georgia leaves to cherish precious memories of her; two daughters, Diane (Daniel) Cooley and Mary Mitchell, both of Mobile, Alabama; five sons - Robert Henry (Geraldine) Yates, York, AL, Lorenzo (Denise) Johnson, Scooba, MS, Nathaniel (Cynthia) Johnson, Mobile, AL, and North Agusta, SC Perry, (Genevia) Johnson, Bailey, MS; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great, grandchildren; relatives and friends who loved her dearly. Georgia was the last of her siblings generation with a long life of ninety-five (95) years.
