Frenchie Rena Watkins

FRENCHIE RENA WATKINS, age 55 of Lawrenceville, Georgia, formerly of Sumter County, Alabama, was born May 30, 1967 to the union of the late Edmond and Pearlene Lard Foster. She peacefully transitioned surrounded by loving family January 12, 2023 in Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia. Service of Memory and Life Celebration is slated for Friday, January 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Eastern Star Missionary Baptist Church, located 112 Curl Road, York, Alabama. Rev. Tyrone Thomas will deliver the eulogy offering words of comfort and consolation; Rev. Robert E. Pearce, Jr. is church pastor. Sister Watkins will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time. Interment follows in Eastern Star Memorial Gardens, Millville Road 19 (734 Country Club Road), also York, Alabama. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Thursday evening from 3-5:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel.
