ELLA REE BARLOW MOORE, age 78, of the Morning Star Community of Cuba, Alabama, affectionately known as "Sue", born in Lauderdale, Mississippi to the union of the late Willie Stokes and Luvenia Barlow, transitioned and entered into eternal rest May 3, 2020 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster, Alabama. Graveside Service of Memory is slated for Saturday, May 9, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Morning Star Cemetery, Dove 2, Cuba. Rev. Dwayne Watson, pastor of Praise Nation Worship Center will deliver the eulogy and offer words of comfort and consolation. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled from 2-5:00 p.m. Friday evening, (May 8th) in the Weatherly Chapel. Ella was educated in the Sumter County school system in Kinterbish, Alabama. She later married Junior Leonard Moore and moved to Chicago, IL., and to this union one daughter (Patricia Lynn) was born. Ella committed her life to the Lord in 1977 and became a member of the Old Landmark Church of God Holiness in Christ. She later became a member of Praise Nation Worship Center under the leadership of Pastor Dwayne Watson. She loved praising the Lord and always enjoyed Fellowship and visiting the sick and elderly until her health began to fail. Ella worked for many years at the Lakewood Book Bindery as a Senior Machinist. In 1977 she retired and returned home to her roots in Cuba, Alabama. Those who are left to celebrate a beautiful life lived and to cherish precious memories are: one son, Quintin (Katrina) Barlow, Montgomery, AL; two daughters- Angela (Billy) Walker, Calera, AL. and Patricia Jackson, Tuscaloosa, Al; three brothers- Ellis Eugene Barlow and David Walker, both of Cuba, Al., Robert Earl Barlow of Chicago, IL; four sisters- Sarah Walker and Gloria (Willie) Fortner, both of Cuba, AL., Loretta (Robert) Powell, Conyers, GA., and Gwendolyn (Anthony) Jones of Snellville, GA; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends and family throughout the Church and community. Surely she will be missed by all who loved her and all those whom she dearly loved. Ella was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; twin brother, Willie (DD) Barlow, Spencer, Oree and Charles Barlow.
