MINISTER ELIZABETH H. GARDNER, age 78, of York, Alabama, was born September 9, 1945 to the late Thomas Ray and Farrie Bernice Hudson Ausbrooks in Ward, Choctaw County, Alabama. She peacefully transitioned and entered into eternal rest September 26, 2023 at Whitfield Regional Medical Center, Demopolis, Alabama. Memorial Service of Remembrance will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. with family hour being from 10:00 am until service time at St. John Missionary Baptist Church. The church is located 1225 Shorts 15, Ward, Alabama 36922. Rev. Akiva Burton (New Hope Baptist Church, York, AL.) will deliver the eulogy offering words of comfort and consolation; Rev. Pettis Lockett is church pastor. Minister Brenda Lake will serve as Mistress Of Order.
