Dennis James Altman

Dennis James Altman, age 36, formerly of Sumter County, Alabama, born to Eddie James Horn and Patricia Ann Altman, entered into eternal rest May 2, 2017 in St. Vincent Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama.  Service of remembrance will be Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. from Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, York, Alabama with interment following in Gibbs Cemetery, Cuba.  Rev. Ronnie Walk will deliver the eulogy and offer words of comfort and consolation; with Sis. Cherita Perry serving as Mistress of Order.  Visitation for family and friends is scheduled for Friday evening (May 12th) from 3-6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel.      Those he leaves to cherish his memories are:  his loving mother, Patricia Ann (Chester Barron) Altman of Mobile, AL;  his father Eddie James Horn, New York;  one brother, Richard James (Felicia Brown) Altman of Cuba, AL;  two sisters - Shantell Maria Altman and Annie Marie Altman, both of York, AL;  seven (7) nephews- Johnarious, Keymond and Jayden Altman, Frederick McCoy, Lashun Aaron, Jeffery Harrison, Jr., and Xavier Carlisle;  two nieces- Nevaeh Aaron and Terria Altman, and a host of other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.       To the Altman Family, we at Weatherly Funeral Home, offer to each of you our most sincere and heartfelt sympathy and condolences.
