  DEMETRIUS D. "Chucky" GILES, age 27 of York, Alabama transitioned and entered into eternal rest, September 6, 2018 at Anderson Regional Medical Center, Meridian, Mississippi.  Service of Remembrance is Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from First Baptist Church, 254 McConnell Street, York, Alabama with Rev. Jonathan Byrd, pastor, delivering the eulogy and offering words of comfort and consolation.   As he is affectionately known "Chucky" will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral  time.  Interment follows in Friendship Cemetery, Ward, Alabama.  Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Friday evening (Sept. 14th) from 3-6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel.  On Saturday afternoon at 1:40 p.m. the processional leaves from the Giles Family residence, located 104 Norton Lane.       Those who remain to cherish precious memories and to celebrate his life are:  a loving, devoted mother, Deborah Giles, and a brother, Devante Giles, uncles, aunts, cousins and other relatives, friends and classmates who loved him dearly and truly he will be missed.  He is preceded in death by his brother, Maurice Giles (Oct. 6, 2014), his grandparents, Iris Giles and Rufus Fitch.       To his mother, Deborah Giles and the entire Giles Family, we at Weatherly Funeral Home offer to each of you our most sincere and heartfelt sympathies and condolences.  Our prayer remains that your abiding faith in God will continue to comfort, to strengthen and sustain you during your most profound time of sorrow.
