"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble......Psalm 46:1 DEBORAH DENICE GILES, age 57, of Livingston, Alabama, born to the union of the late Irish Mae Giles and Rufus James Fitch, transitioned and entered into eternal rest August 21, 2021 at her residence surrounded by loving family. Graveside Service of Memory and Life Celebration is slated for Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Friendship Cemetery, Ward, Alabama. Rev. Jonathan Byrd, pastor of First Baptist Church, York, Alabama will deliver expressions of comfort and consolation; with Sis. Bernice Nixon serving as Mistress of Order. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Friday evening (August 27th) from 3-6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel. At an early age Deborah confessed her faith in Christ and united with First Baptist Church. She graduated with the Class of 1982 from Sumter County High School, also York, Alabama. Those who have preceded her in death are her parents; two sons - Maurice and Demetrius Giles and grandparents Ollie Brantley and Ida Brantley. Deborah leaves to cherish her memories and to celebrate her life: a loving and devoted son, Devante (Iesha) Giles; a precious beautiful granddaughter Aubree Giles whom she loved spending time with; two sisters - Gloria Stewart, Meridian, MS. and Emma (Carl) Troutman of Jacksonville, FL; five brothers - Kenny (Stacey) Giles, Lauderdale, MS., James (Wendy) Giles York, AL, James Fitch, Jacksonville FL, Charles Bell, York, AL, and Tommy Bell, also York, AL; one aunt Rosie Giles, Bellamy, AL; a special loving and caring family friend Felecia Lee; a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her dearly and whom she also loved. Truly Deborah will be missed.
