David Bennett Amerson

DAVID BENNETT AMERSON, age 91, of Emelle, Alabama, born to the union of Mitchell and Annie Mae Danner Amerson, transitioned and entered into eternal rest January 12, 2020 at Anderson Regional Medical Center, Meridian, Mississippi. Service of Memory is slated for Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from Saint Peter Baptist Church, County Road 20, Emelle, with interment following in the adjacent St. Peter Cemetery.  Rev. Calvin Finch will deliver the eulogy and offer words of comfort and consolation;  Rev. Herman Evans is church pastor.  Bro. Amerson will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.  After the committal service, repast and fellowship is in the Emelle City Hall reception area.  Visitation  for family and friends is scheduled Friday evening (Jan. 24th) from 3-6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel.  On Saturday morning the processional leaves from the Amerson Family residence, located 26155 Highway 17, Emelle at 10:40 a.m. To the entire Amerson Family, we at Weatherly Funeral Home offer to each of you our most sincere and heartfelt sympathy and condolences.  Our prayer remains that your abiding faith in God will continue to comfort, to strengthen and sustain you during your time of sorrow.
