Bennie Ree Pritchett

BENNIE REE PRITCHETT, age 85, of Euclid, Ohio, was the youngest of eleven children born February 14, 1938 in Cuba; Sumter County, Alabama to the union of the late Pink and Nettie Bell McVay. She peacefully transitioned and entered into eternal rest March 30, 2023 at her Ohio residence surrounded by loving family and friends. Service of Memory and Life Celebration is slated for Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, located 1000 Old US Highway 11, Cuba, with interment following in the adjacent Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Sister Pritchett will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. James Granger, pastor, will deliver the eulogy offering words of comfort and consolation with Sister Carol Hull to serve as Mistress of Order. Visitation is scheduled Friday evening (April 14th) from 4-6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel. Bennie was preceded in death by her husband (Charles), parents (Nettie & Pink), two children (James & Marilyn), three grandchildren (Chad, Clyde, Myesha) and ten siblings, Marie, Ben, Mandell, Daisy, Manual, Roberta, Willie, Maggie, Daniel and Grady. Those who remain to cherish precious memories and to celebrate her life are: six children; Willie (Gloria), Cuba, Al, Eddie, and Bonita (Michael) both of Cleveland, OH, Theodis (Cherlyn), Tuscaloosa, AL, Michelle and Belinda (Opher) both of Euclid, Ohio; sixteen (16) grandchildren; thirty (30) great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who loved her dearly and whom she also loved.
