ANNIE LOUISE HENDERSON, age 82, of Geiger, Alabama, was born July 2, 1941 to the union of the late Tommie and Carrie Jones Giles. She peacefully transitioned and entered into eternal rest at her residence surrounded by loving family on October 22, 2023 at 4:14 p.m. Service of Remembrance and Life Celebration is slated for Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 12:00 noon from Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, located 41777 Alabama Highway 17, (Geiger, but on the Emelle route), with interment following in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Sister Henderson will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Gary Parker will deliver the eulogy, offering words of comfort and consolation, with Sis. Katina Meeks serving as Mistress of Order. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Friday evening (Nov. 3rd) from 2-5:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel. She was united in Holy Matrimony to B. L. Henderson on June 21,1963. They remained married for 25 years and to this union were born four children - Sherman (Doris) Henderson, Shirley Henderson, Willie James Henderson of Jackson, MS. and Andrew (Theresa) Henderson of Geiger, AL., Eleven (11) grandchildren; six (6) great grandchildren; three (3) great-great grandchildren; one great great great grandchild; eleven (11) siblings, Tommy Giles, Jr., Donald Charles, Bill, Albert and Robert Giles; siblings who have preceded her in death are; Alvin Giles, Sadie McCollum, Florence Scott, Roberta Giles, Earlie and Pearlie Giles; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous other relatives and friends who loved her dearly. She lived a long, beautiful life. She enjoyed going to church and participated in the choir and served as an usher for many years at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
