ALBERT LEWIS FELLOWS, age 83, of Livingston, Alabama, born to the late Willie and Rosie Washington Fellows, transitioned and departed this life October 23, 2017 at the Main Campus Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Graveside Memorial Service of Remembrance is Friday, November 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Elmwood Memorial Gardens, Highway 11-East, York, Alabama, with Rev. Charlie W. Moore, pastor of First Baptist Church, offering words of comfort and consolation. After the committal service, repast will be held in the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist, Livingston, Alabama. Albert claimed God as his personal Savior at an early age and was baptized as a member of the First Baptist Church of Livingston. Serving faithfully at his church Liberty Hill Baptist in Cleveland, Ohio as a deacon for many years where he and his wife were members from 1954 until 1996, before they built a home and relocated back to Livingston, Alabama. There he was a member and Deacon of First Baptist Church from 1996 until October 23, 2017 when God said "Well Done My Servant" and took he home to join his wife Annie (1999) and his parents, brothers, Isaac, Charlie, Jessie, Ellix James and sister, Viola. He attended the Sumter County Public School System and was a graduate of the class of 1950 from Sumter County Training School. He served his country in the US Army for four years after this. For more than forty one years he was employed with Republic Steel/LTV Steel Company in Cleveland, retiring in 1996. Albert grew up with and also went to school with the love of his life, Annie R. Tartt. They were united in holy matrimony on April 9, 1954, and to this union were born five children. Those who remain to celebrate his life and to cherish fond memories are: five children - Rosie (Donald) Flowers, Diane (Carl) Gross, Alberta Lester, Debbie (Duane) Horton and Donald E. Fellows; eight (8) grandchildren, one having preceded him in death; eleven (11) great grandchildren; one aunt; five sisters-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved him dearly and he will truly be missed by all.
