ANNEL J. WILSON, age 65, of York, Alabama, born to the late Cleveland and Mary Lane Thompson Jackson, passed December 4, 2016 at Rush Foundation Hospital, Meridian, Mississippi. Service of Remembrance will be Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from Mt. Powell Baptist Church, 11305 US Highway 11, York. Rev. Wesley Winston, pastor is to deliver the eulogy and offer words of comfort and consolation. Interment follows in the adjacent Mt. Powell Cemetery. After the committal service, repast will be at New Harvest Banquet Hall, located 201 South Broad Street. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Friday evening (Dec. 9th) from 3-6:00 p. m. in the Weatherly Chapel. On Saturday morning at 10:40 a.m. the processional leaves from the Wilson residence, 210 Wren Street. Those who remain to celebrate her life and to cherish precious memories are: Her children - Arthur "Toby" Wilson, York, Alabama, and Ashley Nicole Wilson of Birmingham, AL; three grandchildren; Isaiah Meeks, Panola, AL., Zharia Wilson and Andre Gilmore, Jr. of Birmingham, AL; three (3) brothers- Johnny (Vernea) Jackson, Cleveland (Millie) Jackson and Otis (Mittie Bell, deceased) Jackson, all of Boston, MA; three (3) sisters - Catherine Beverly and Corine Cavanaugh, both of Cleveland, Ohio and Katie (Eskio, deceased) Lake of York, AL; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends who loved her dearly and she will truly be missed.
