Kathleen Bell Foy

KATHLEEN BELL FOY, age 61, of York, Alabama, born to the late Dan and Minnie Lee Ford Childers, passed September 8, 2016 at 8:40 pm at Anderson Regional Medical Center, Meridian, MS.  Service of Remembrance is Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from the Living Word Church, 1408 Hwy AL 28 East, Livingston, Alabama with Pastor Byron Franklin delivering the eulogy and offering words of comfort and consolation.  Mrs. Bell-Foy will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.  Interment follows in Elmwood Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 11 East, York, AL. After the committal service, repast is in the Fellowship Hall of Living Word. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Friday evening (Sept. 16th) from 3-6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel.  On Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. the processional leaves the Bell-Foy family residence, located 153 Weatherly Circle.        Those who remain to celebrate her life and to cherish precious memories are:  her husband, Nelson J. Foy;  four (4) daughters - Rachel (Marlon) Flemings,  Dallas, TX, Hawatha Bell Lewis, York, AL., Celeste Bell, Talladega, AL, and Jaimelyn Bell of Chicago, IL;  Three (3) step-daughters- Valencia Moore, Boyd, AL., Contessa Bell and Fonda Bell, both of Birmingham, Al;  one step-son, Early Bell, Jr., Birmingham, AL;  one sister- JoHelen Childers-Jones, Tuscaloosa, AL., four (4) brothers- Dan (Gwen) Childers, Cleveland, OH., Allen Charles Childers, York, AL., Melvin Childers, Livingston, AL., and Alonzo (Tainisha) Childers of Jackson, MS;  ten (10) grandchildren;  one great grandchild and numerous other relatives, cousins, friends, neighbors and so many who loved and will truly miss her.       To the Bell, Foy and Childers families, we at Weatherly Funeral Home offer to each of you our most sincere and heartfelt sympathy and condolences.  Our prayer remains that your abiding faith in God will continue to comfort, to strengthen and sustain you during your most profound time of sorrow.
