BRAD C. ("Jack") DELAINE, age 84, of Cuba, Alabama, born in Sumter County; Alabama to the late Allie Parker and Pallee Grant Delaine passed August 28, 2016 in Anderson Regional Medical Center, Meridian, Mississippi.  Service of Remembrance is Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. from Grants Chapel CME Church, 5290 Kinterbish 10, Cuba.  Rev. Charles H. Delaine will deliver the eulogy and offer words of consolation;  Rev. Izea Blanks is church pastor.  Mr. Delaine will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.  Interment follows with military honors in the Delaine Family plot of Cagus Cemetery, Kinterbish 10, also Cuba.  After the committal service,  repast is in the Fellowship Hall of Grants Chapel.  Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Friday evening (Sept. 2nd) from 3-6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel.  At 12:40 p.m. Saturday afternoon the Processional leaves the Delaine Family residence, located 4689 Kinterbish 10, Cuba.           He leaves to cherish his memory, his caring and devoted wife, Emma Delaine of Cuba, AL, four daughters, Lora Delaine of Atlanta, GA, Jacqueline Delaine and Symphony Delaine of Montgomery, AL, step-daughter Barbara Perry of Detroit, MI. Two sons, Robert (Priscilla) Delaine of Atlanta, GA. and Benny Turner of Birmingham, AL. Nine grandchildren, Kalvin Delaine of Atlanta, GA/Afghanistan, Marquet Delaine of Montgomery, AL, Darnell (Lauren) Delaine of Panama City, FL, Kreig Delaine of Atlanta, GA, Tasha (Branden) Johnson of Mildenhall, UK, Kiara Delaine of Washington, DC, Christopher Washington of Atlanta, GA, Shenae Hutchins of Boyd, AL, and Damian Rew of New Orleans, LA. Eleven Great- Grandchildren. Six sisters, Annie Pearl Swan, Elyria, OH, Earnestine Pearce, Matteson, IL, Christine Delaine, Douglasville, GA, Melva Lue Delaine, Cuba, AL, Patricia Foster, Maywood, IL and Diann Delaine of Atlanta, GA. Three brothers, Eddie (Sarah) Delaine, Arthur (Johnnie) Delaine, Rev. Charles H. (Mattie)Delaine all of Cuba, AL. Five brother- in- Laws, Joe Lee(Inez) Amerson of York, AL, James Amerson of Greenwood, SC, Jimmy (Gladys) Amerson of Birmingham, AL, Archie Rowe and Timothy Rowe of Montgomery, AL. Five Sister-in-laws, Jessie Delaine (a helpful hand when needed) of Cuba, AL, Velma Walker and Lucille Amerson of York, AL, Dorothy (Freddie) Dickey of Birmingham, AL, Patricia Love of Greenwood, SC and Lillian Collins of Birmingham, AL. Additional helpful hand when needed, niece Linda Delaine of Cuba, AL and a special family friend Gerome McReynolds of Montgomery, AL and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who loved him dearly.       To the Delaine Family, we at Weatherly Funeral Home, offer to each of you our most sincere and heartfelt sympathy and condolences.  Our prayer remains that your abiding faith in God will continue to comfort, to strengthen and sustain you during your most profound time to sorrow.
