Christobel J. Smith

Christobel J. Smith, age 65, of Cuba, Alabama, passed at her residence August 11, 2015.  Graveside service of remembrance will be Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Cagus Cemetery off of the Kinterbish Road in Cuba.  Rev. James Campbell is to offer words of consolation.  Visitation for family and friends is scheduled for Saturday evening  (Aug. 15th) from 3-6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel.She volunteered her time, energy, and talents through organizations that included the Kinterbish Community Center and the Kinterbish Fire Department. She also served as the Tax Collector of Sumter County. She will be greatly missed and loved by: her mother; Fannie Mae Jemison, daughter; Kimberly McKenzie also of Cuba, grandchildren, Clinton Williams Jr., Sylvundre Mckenzie, and Kymmia Mckenzie; brothers Danny Earl (Saundra) Johnson of Montgomery, Alabama, Reginald (Loretta) of Maple Heights, Ohio and Ronald Larkin of Montgomery, Alabama. sisters; Rosalyn Larkin of Montgomery, Alabama and Romona (Henry) Curry of Glen Burnie, Maryland and many relatives and friends.To the Smith family, we at Weatherly Funeral Home, offer our most sincere and heartfelt sympathy.
