James Matthew Kirksey

       James Matthew Kirksey, age 30, of Cuba, Alabama, passed at his residence June 2, 2015.  The combined funeral service of remembrance with DeMarcus Datrayl Ruffin will be Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 12:00 noon from Morning Star Baptist Church, in the Morning Star Community of Cuba.  Rev. Willie D. Wilson will deliver the eulogy and offer words of consolation.  "Matt" will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time with interment following in the Gibbs Family Cemetery.  Visitation for family and friends is Monday evening from 3-6:00 p.m. at the Weatherly Chapel.         Those left to celebrate his life and to cherish precious memories are:  his mother, Susan Edwards and a loving  grandmother, Annie Bell Kirksey, Hattiesburg, Ms;  four daughters - Kyla Kirksey, York, Al., Amy Sardin, Jamirah Williams, and Layla Kirksey of Gulfport, Ms;  two sons- Jakhari Williams and King Kirksey, also of Gulfport, Ms;  four sisters- Patricia, Heather and Tiffany Kirksey, all of Hattiesburg, Ms. and Desiree Pace, Phoenix, Az;  a  very special friend, Bianca Atkins, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will truly miss him and loved him dearly.
